According to the latest updates, the game will start at 3:30 p.m. IST after day 3 was postponed early due to the wet outfield in the World Test Championship (WTC) final. With Virat Kohli putting the opposing bowlers under pressure, India will face New Zealand on the third day of their ongoing WTC final at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on Sunday. After day 1 washed out, the game resumed on day two and India stood 146 for three on stumps. In addition, poor lighting resulted in referees ending Day 2 earlier than planned. Team India captain Virat Kohli is currently unbeaten with 44 runs and has hit 124 balls. He will hit again with Ajinkya Rahane (29 of 79 balls). Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill also made notable contributions on Day 2. The opening races achieved 34 and 28 runs respectively. Meanwhile, Trent Boult, Kyle Jamieson and Neil Wagner each picked up a wicket for New Zealand on Day 2. On the third day India wants to get more runs and increase the pressure on New Zealand. On the other hand, New Zealand will go for a better bowling exhibition. (LIVE SCORECARD)
