OnePlus launched its second-generation headphones, OnePlus headphones Z2, in India. TWS earphones with active noise canceling (ANC) function were launched in China, the United States and a few European markets last year. New portable devices are supposed to offer better sound quality at an affordable price. the OnePlus Buds Z2 are the successor to the original OnePlus Buds Z TWS headphones launched in 2020.
OnePlus Buds Z2: prices and offers
The OnePlus Buds Z2 is priced at Rs 4,999. Red Cable’s first sale on and OnePlus app will start on January 17. The open sale for OnePlus Buds Z2 will start on January 18. The headphones will be available on the OnePlus website, OnePlus app, and Amazon. The TWS headphones will be available in two colors – Obsidian Black and Pearl White.
OnePlus Buds Z2: Specifications
In terms of appearance and design, the OnePlus Buds Z2 resemble its predecessor. But there are significant updates that come with the new headphones. The OnePlus Buds Z2 are equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC). OnePlus claims these headphones can deliver up to 38 hours of playtime. Each earbud is equipped with a 40 mAh battery. According to the company, the headphones can last up to 5 hours with ANC on and up to 7 hours without ANC.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 charging case has a 520 mAh battery. The company claims that the case offers fast charging and can deliver up to 5 hours of playtime in 10 minutes of charging.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 come with an ANC of 40dB. There is also a transparency mode on the headphones. It features a three-mic setup for noise and wind reduction. It is equipped with an 11mm dynamic driver and supports Dolby Atmos. For connections, it comes with Bluetooth version 5.2. Another feature of the new headphones is that they offer an IP55 rating and are dust and water resistant.
The TWS headphones also feature touch controls that can be used to change tracks, answer calls, trigger the voice assistant, or change ANC mode. Non-OnePlus smartphone users can further customize headphone settings through the HeyMelody app. It should be noted that the same application is used to pair Oppo headphones.
