Oppo launched the ColorOS 12 public beta of the operating system for its smartphones worldwide. The new operating system is based on Android 12 and will arrive first on Find X3 Pro devices in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. According to the company, the new operating system contains icons, animations and a smoother and more user-friendly information framework for different languages ​​and cultures. It is integrated with many Android features like the wallpaper based theme system in Material You. The company claims that code decoupling efforts in ColorOS have led to a low system aging rate of 2.75% in 3 years, an average of 30% less memory usage and 20% less memory consumption. battery less.
The operating system also has handy features such as 3-finger translation powered by Google Lens and phone manager.
In terms of privacy, the update is packed with security and privacy features of Android 12, including privacy dashboards, approximate location sharing, and microphone and camera indicators. It also receives features developed within the Oppo team such as Private System, Private Safe, App Lock and others.
The new operating system supports 67 languages, including 13 major Indian languages. The company aims to bring ColorOS 12 to over 110 models with 150 million users.
Apart from that, the company has also guaranteed three major Android updates for its flagship Find X series devices and two Android updates for the Reno / F and some of the A series models.
