Samsung Galaxy A22 5G smartphone to launch in India on July 23: All you need to know

NEW DELHI: It looks like the consumer electronics giant Samsung is on a wave of smartphone launches. Earlier this week, the company launched the Samsung Galaxy A22 smartphone and is now preparing to launch its 5G variant.
Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G smartphone in India on July 23. The company took to Twitter to announce the launch date. The company tweeted: “Get ready for lag-free real-time gaming on 5G. # GalaxyA225G’s 11-band 5G network support will ensure uninterrupted 5G access. Only 2 days left. Stay tuned . #Samsung. ”

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G (expected price)
According to a recent online leak, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A22 5G smartphone in two variants: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The company is expected to price the 6GB RAM variant at Rs 19,999, while the 8 GB variant of RAM would cost Rs 21,999. As a reminder, Samsung launched the 4G variant of the same smartphone at Rs 18,499.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Specifications
Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A22 5G smartphone in Europe. The company is expected to launch the same variant in India. The smartphone comes with a 6.6 inch Full HD + display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor paired with 6GB / 8GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G variant offers 128 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded by installing a microSD card. The handset runs the Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own One UI layer.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has a triple rear camera with a 48 MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, a 5 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front houses an 8MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone is equipped with a side fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
