WhatsApp will stop working on these Android phones, iPhones from November 1

NEW DELHI: If you are using an old Android phone or iPhone, you may need to worry about WhatsApp Support. WhatsApp has now announced that it will stop supporting phones that don’t run Android OS 4.1 and above and iOS 10 and above.
If you’re using a smartphone that doesn’t run at least Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, released in 2011, it’s high time to upgrade. Just go to the Settings menu and check About Phone to see which version of Android is running on your phone.
Talk about iPhone, WhatsApp will only work on iOS 10 and later.
JioPhone users don’t have to worry about WhatsApp support. WhatsApp clarified that “some phones running newer KaiOS 2.5.1, including the JioPhone and JioPhone 2” will continue to support the chat app.
According to a report from Metro news, the following smartphones will not support WhatsApp from November 1.
